Introduction
The DekkoSecure FUSION interface organises material by “Case”. A case has attributes that are customised for your organisation, and are configured to manage the many different ways that digital evidence or supporting legal data should be identified. See the FUSION Administration article to see how case attributes are configured.
When you log in, you will see all case folders that are accessible to you, either as an owner, or as a recipient of a case folder that has been created by another DekkoSecure FUSION user. For groups of organisations that handle data with a broad array of attribution requirements (resulting attributes!), “view profiles” are set up to show a limited number of attributes per-organisation.
The home view of the case browser allows you to:
- Review and access case material
- Create and share new cases
- Update case attributes
- Locate and group cases using filters
- Locate and group case content using filters
- Upload data to case folders
- Add users to your organisation
Using Filters
Attributes are set up in the following categories:
- Text
- Number
- Date
- Selection
- User
To enable a filter, click on the filter element and enter the detail that you are searching for. The matched material will appear in the case browser:
Combinations of filters can also be used for highly specific case search:
Grouping can be applied to any attribute:
To remove a filter, click on the red (×) against the filter element:
Content Search
Search is based on file names that are displayed in the current file view. It will not search openly for all files across the FUSION system that are accessible to you.
To use the content search, type a term in to the search field:
View Profiles
Above filter selection interface, view profiles allow you to select a limited number of attributes to be displayed in the case browser. View profiles are set up for your organisation, and may change depending on your workflow(s).
The DekkoSecure FUSION application will remember your view profile selection for the next time you log in.
