This article will show you how to remove a user from a Hub and manage their role and visibility

Remove users from a Hub
Note: you must be a Hub admin to remove users from a Hub
Select "Contacts" in the left navigation bar. Ensure the correct Hub is selected from the dropdown, then open the "User management" tab, and then press the ✕ button:
Warning: deleted users will be removed immediately along with their uploaded files and messages
Manage user settings
Note: you must be a Hub admin to manage users in a Hub
User type settings are specific to each Hub.
Select "Contacts" in the left navigation bar. Ensure the correct Hub is selected from the dropdown, then open the "User management" tab, and then make the necessary changes:
Team member definition:
Team members can:
- Invite new users to the Hub
- See other Team members in the Hub contact list
- See external members in the Hub contact list
- Share files and folders with Team members and External members of the Hub
- Recieve files and folders from Team members and External members of the Hub
External member definition:
External members can:
- See Team members in the Hub contact list
- Share files and folders with Team members of the Hub
- Recieve files and folders from Team members of the Hub
External members cannot:
- Invite new users to the Hub
- See other External members in the Hub contact list
- Recieve files and folders from External members of the Hub
Example scenario:
John (Team member) uploads a file and shares it with Bob (Team member), Alice (External member) and Ted (External member).
- Bob (T) can see John (T), Alice (E) and Ted (E) in the contacts and can see that the file is also shared with Alice (E) and Ted (E).
- Alice (E) can see John (T) and Bob (T) in the contacts and can only see that the file is also shared with Bob (T).
- Ted (E) can see John (T) and Bob (T) in the contacts and can only see that the file is also shared with Bob (T).
